The Tile People Eltham (Yeomans Tile and Slate) has been is an institution in the local area for over 20 years, but the Hynes Family, now the owners of The Tile People Eltham, have been in the tiling industry for over 40. The Tile People Eltham has always been renowned for its stone such as slates and sandstones. It has just recently undergone major renovations and now also boasts the latest in innovative tiles and displays.  Open 6 days a week for your convenience, The Tile People Eltham is a must visit when your looking for stone and tiles.

Combined with our other stores, The Tile People Hoppers Crossing and The Tile People Balwyn, as well as our distribution centre and head office, we employ over 60 dedicated people that have made the Hynes Group of stores what it is today.

Delivery/Pick Up Service

We offer a delivery service to anywhere in the metro and regional areas every day. We crane/fork unload on site. For pickups we can conveniently fork your order directly onto a trailer or ute, or for smaller orders (under 10m2) into the boot of your car. Pickups can be done from anyone of our stores, or direct from our distribution centre in Derrimut.

Selection/Measure and Quote Service

We offer a free comprehensive tile selection service and have all major laminates, stone bench top, carpet and paint samples to help with colour choice. We can organise scale elevations drawings if needed, and offer an in store measure and quotes service.

For a more detailed selection service, our interior/exterior colour consultants – Mango Design, can offer a tailored package to suit your needs and budget.

Payment methods

We accept all major credit cards, direct deposits, or cash. Accounts for Builders and Trades are also available on request – conditions apply.

Lay-by Service and Conditions

For your convenience, we offer a lay-by service with a payment plan, when a 20% deposit is made on the initial order. Long term storage is also available when goods are fully paid for. – ask our staff for more details
